Jim Kinloch [00:00:02] Hello David. After the success of the first employer survival event, I believe you’re playing another in the near future. Can you tell us a bit more, for instance, who the event is aimed at and what they will gain from attending and also who will be speaking at the event?
David Du-Feu [00:00:19] Hi, Jim. Yes, that’s correct. After the success of our first event back in April, we’re back on July the third at Firwood Waterloo Rugby Club, helping businesses to navigate the good, the bad, and the ugly of the employee life cycle. Now our event is aimed at business owners and or decision makers, and as mentioned, we want to help them to navigate the upcoming changes whilst offering some practical guidance along the way. I’m very fortunate that on the day I’ll be joined by three fantastic people, namely Kerry Swift from Beam Recruit, Jenny Detheridge, and Dan Wilbeck from IGHR, and obviously myself as well. So very much looking forward to the event, to give people an idea of the topics that we’ll be covering, recruitment and onboarding, all things HR related and payroll, and specifically zero hour contracts. So it’s important to note that the world of employment is changing and it’s changing quickly.
David Du-Feu [00:01:34] Many businesses aren’t prepared for what’s coming and so we want to not only make them aware of the upcoming changes, but also give them some helpful hints, tips, et cetera, and hopefully they can leave the event with a few takeaways as well. So just to recap the event for those interested Friday, the 3rd of July at Firwood Waterloo Rugby Club. If you are interested in attending, please get in touch with me via a direct message. I can then send you the Eventbrite link and it is aimed, not necessarily solely, but for Merseyside businesses and also those in and around the Lancaster area. So hopefully Jim, that’s given you a bit more of an overview as to our event
Jim Kinloch [00:02:21] It has. Thank you very much for that, David. So that was David Du-Feu from EMP Services, UK Limited.
Take care,
The E&P Services Team
